EPIDEMIOLOGY DIVISION

Epidemiology

This division of public health emphasizes the distribution, primary causes, and control of diseases within communities. It gives necessary information like how the disease is transmitted, who is at risk, and what factors (biological, environmental, and social) play a significant role in the outcomes.

Once you know the pattern and the root causes of the diseases, this division helps to craft the required prevention strategies. Epidemiology also helps to craft general health policies for the common people, enhancing overall health outcomes. The primary principles like the identification of the risk factors, learning the natural history of diseases, and quantifying health events are mandatory for shaping primitive solutions. This is the only way to address both communicable and non-communicable diseases among varied populations.

This division also ensures that the knowledge and skill of epidemiology reach each and every person who needs the same, including various health professionals & general community. In order to achieve this, this division will organize various trainings, seminars, consultations, discussions, and expert talks. The same may be conducted based on demand generated from clients or initiatives from our side.

Frequently asked questions

There are three types of epidemiological studies.
  • Descriptive epidemiology (studies patterns of disease in populations)
  • Analytical epidemiology (examines causes and risk factors)
  • Experimental epidemiology (tests interventions, such as vaccines)
  • By using surveillance systems, case reports, and data analysis, epidemiologists try to identify the causes and outbreaks of the disease. They analyze patterns, risk factors, and sources of infections to curb the disease among the population.
Epidemiology helps to design public health policies and various prevention programs, guide vaccination campaigns, and respond to what advisories should be taken in health emergencies like pandemics.
The core objective of the medicine division is to diagnose and treat patients for different diseases. Epidemiologists try to find out the trends in populations to curb the disease and improve overall public health.
Our organization arranges state-of-the-art training programs, seminars, consultations, discussions and expert talks. We have healthcare professionals with us who have the required skills to analyze disease patterns, draft public health strategies, and respond to global health challenges effectively.
